Gold Motel are based in Chicago, but have a sunny SoCal vibe, as you can see in song titles like “Summer House” and “Safe in L.A.” There was some discussion from the stage as to whether the song “Leave You in Love” would be better placed in the final slot, but it worked fine where it was, especially as a fan had just called out for it.
